I have just chopped in several scopes and bought myself a 22 reximex mito so. I was a bit dubious of buying anything reximex due to the shitty regime rifles I had a few years back, but these things seem to have a good following. Apart from the crap magazines and the heavy trigger, what else do I need to know about these things. Cheers.

Reximex Mito Accessories – Tried, tested & recommended

I thought I would create a thread which collates those accessories that we have, as the subject title suggests, tried, tested and can recommend to each other. Feel free to add any others that you recommend, and anything that you don’t, along with your reasons why. Those of you who know me know...

That thread is very informative, so far, just a magazine and a fill port plug is what I will be needing. The pistol will be used for up very close ratting, so bling and shiny won't be needed.

I would consider the biathalon grip, for a couple of quid it makes cocking much easier.

I have had another look at the extension piece on the accessories thread, and ordered one. After looking at the cocking lever on the pistol, I could see myself struggling with it especially in winter with gloves on. I have messaged JCE on ebay, about magazines, as I have a few of his for my Katrans and PR900W. The originals looks too fragile and fiddly, especially if loading them in the dark and cold.

3rd issue
The shroud and action dove tails are different heights.

If its a S pellet test at 20m not 10m. My benched 177 likes every pellet know to man at 10m except qys 9.56. First session i laughed. Almost same at 20m on windless day. 30m jsb exacts 50p groups but most 10p.

22 I'd try Exact express or RS.

I have today noticed at my disappointment just how thin the paint is on these things. I found a large scratch on the barrel shroud, and the scratch went straight to bare metal. I took it out of the to the ratting perm last night for the first time, and it has already proved itself. I was only shooting about 5 or 6 feet, so I put some 22 cal flat head RWS pellets through it, and they are devastating with rats close in.

I have been having a play around with stuff from the bits box and seeing what suits it. I have already taken rats with the mito in its open sights pistol form, so I am going to try it with the red dot and red torch configuration and with the nightstalker mini fitted. It quite suits the nightstalker mini I think.

I have a Hatsan Jet2 which is very similar, but unregulated, I love shooting it both as a Pistol and Carbine/Karbine with the stock and a moderator fitted, loads of fun !

I have bought a 3D printed magazine off Ebay as JCE didn't reply. Looks well made but it keeps jamming up, and could have damaged the probe on the pistol. I have messaged the seller, and hopefully I can get it sorted, so back to the original magazines.

I have two of their magazines for my Brocock ranger and concept, they are good indeed. Hopefully I can get this one sorted out and soon, without any rigmarole.

So, I have tried different pellets through the magazine, RWS superfields, and the first magazine went through OK, then the second one jammed up again after three shots. Also, the biathlon lever keeps falling off.

The side lever is so small in profile, it is hard to get anything to fit tight and is beefy enough to be man enough, unless it is made from metal.
