New DNT Zulus tubed 4K scope

What IR torch clamp are you using?
This is the mount that comes supplied with the torch in the box 😊👍

@SHW i can't see any signs of it being a ball-socket mount though? Adjustable beam direction is pretty essential for an IR illuminator 🤔
Cheers. Russ
Your right russ .. having a directional beam is pretty essential …. so the beam is directional on a pard tl3 ir using a ball n socket …😊👍

Undo the front collar and point the beam where ever you like…up down ..left or right ..😊👍
And with it being small … focusable beam (flood or spot ) … power adjustable as well … it does it all 🥇👍😊

The illuminator itself has a directional lens, you undo the knurled collar at the front and aim it where you want then lock the collar again. @RussDouglas222
Cool, good to know -a pretty compact solution too, although perhaps a wee bit fiddlier than loosening a finger-friendly knob and literally guiding the illuminator left/right/up/down while watching the downrange IR pattern change. 🤷🏻‍♂️
...and I speak as the owner of both a Pard DS35-50RF gen.1 and a DS35-70RF gen.2, so am familiar with that IR lens adjustment (just wasn't aware this illuminator had it).

I love that every day is a school day. 👏🤓
Cheers. Russ

I recommend the Ludicrous Lumens Wraith V3 ESL torch because it's compact, the beam is über-adjustable, the QD mount is light and you can direct the beam, it suits the ZT4K from low power/wide angle out to 840m+ on high/tight beam; oh and it has a discreet LED power indicator at the rear. 🤓🎯
Weight including 18650 battery...

...and it can come with a Picatinny clamp, or this ingenious two-part 30mm tube QD. R
Strange i ordered this but mine a much larger
Lense I think now he sent me wrong one

Just got my Zulu 4k and am going through all the settings and getting it set up. I have loaded ballistic profiles for the different 22 rimfire ammunition that I use, but as yet haven't had the chance to actually do any zeroing. What i haven't worked out is how you link the zero profile to the ballistic data profile. I have named the ballistic profiles, e.g. A is Eley Contact, but the zeroing profiles are numbered 1 to 10. So I guess when i have zeroed the scooe with the different rounds and saved the profiles I have to remember that zero 1 is Eley Contact for example, and make sure I have both the relevant profiles activated. Where on the display is it shown which zero profile that you are using? I must say so far it much prefer the user interface of my Pard DS35 70 and I prefer the full circular display of the Pard. However it is the performance that is the main interest.

Has anyone tried it at distance at night yet , 200m + and if you own a hik alpex 4k., how does it compare.. Would be great to hear your views 😁
A few of us waiting on that report. Footage seems to be slow filtering out

I’ve been checking Youtube since its become available, it’s obviously early days and the weather has been pants but i haven’t seen anything yet that will sway me from the Alpex, time will tell.

I was thinking the same, hope it not like the nicopex 🤔
I'm desperate to see and hear a side by side comparison to the Alpex 4k, weather has been pretty dire up here so maybe that's getting in the way of people getting out and putting them through there paces, hopefully we wont have to wait long🤞
