Good morning all, eagerly looking forward to seeing lots of you a week tomorrow, at the 2025 British Shooting Show.

I'll be back and forth to the DNT Optics stand, partly to ogle the new ThermNight multispectral scopes, but also the NEW DNT Zulus 4K tubed scope. :love::love::love:

The raised rubberised buttons look nicely defined, I can see a pinhole LED power indicator, plus a pinhole microphone. The 21700 battery is added through one of the side turrets, and the USB access is at the back of the compact LRF module.
(NOTE: Working prototype shown, not yet fully functional).

There's only been this 4K model revealed so far, and there's no onboard IR, simply because so many of us already have a box-full of IR torches.

I'm hoping to review this soon, and I'll pair it with the excellent compact/light Ludicrous Lumens Wraith V3 (whose beam adjusts to fill the view of the ZHD312R, or narrows for long-distance use, and fits the lightweight finger-adjustable mount perfectly).

...and before you ask, as with any digital scope you obviously have to consider the MOA of the mount, so thanks to Masood of EagleVisionCam.com, I'll be mounting it via his INS-30 vertically-adjustable mounts.

These are slim, and ingeniously include four positions to the one-slot Picatinny accessory rail - to take the adjustable IR of your choosing.

I reviewed these EVC INS-30 mounts before (see Flickr album here: #059 Summer 2020 AGW - EagleVisionCam accessories), so already trust them 100%.
They can come standalone, or fully equipped, and as always arrive in a cool protective pouch...

Looking forward to what this scope may bring to the party....hopefully on a par with the zulu lrf/bc etc and able to mount and use with standard mounts rather than any kind of multi adjustable ring mounts.....and pref a lot lighter then the alpex 4k!

I haven't had this confirmed yet (I may take my slim reviewing scales to the BSS), but the figure I've heard is just over 1kg, so for comparison that's heavier than a Zulus, but around 250g lighter than an Alpex 4K.

So we'll see how they compare performance-wise. 🤓

The DNT stand for next weekend, considerably bigger than last year, with more brand new kit to show-off ...including both multi-spectral and dedicated thermal scopes, plus that new thermal spotter. 😍🤓

I'll be roving around the whole show as always (shoulder pain-permitting🤞), but there's a friendly team of shooters just like us all manning the DNT booth, including some familiar faces from the UK and overseas... 🤓🤝
Just don't expect them to have field experience of all the latest goodies... yet. 🎯

Their new SFP scopes with fibre dot reticle are rather nice. Also their own version of the popular EP5 range with upgraded glass and reticle. I was also very impressed with the quality of image they eeked out of the hydra 256. Looking forward to seeing what the UK think of the new monoculars and tube 4K.

Eh? if its just over a kilo and the Aplex 4K is 1176g how can it be 250g lighter??
 
I was looking forward to visiting the DNT stand this Friday to see the ZT4K in person but sadly I won't make it after getting my knee replaced 2 and half weeks ago.

I was able to walk without crutches a week after the op but I think flying down and walking around the show would be too much for me and hinder my recovery.

I trust it will be a great show and I am extremely jealous of you guys who will be attending.

I am looking forward to seeing lots of content and reviews of all the new products on show.

What is the advantage of this new tubed scope over the Zulus , specially when it has no Ir 🤷🏻‍♂️
