I am sure there was a thread that explained the process but cant find it?

I know I would need 2 references, medical, safe/secure storage, visit from my police force and to actually submit my application.

Would someone mind breaking it down in the order you put these things into place. Im sure I can find 2 people who would do references for me.

Thank you

If you are completely new to this game, the most important thing to be able to do when applying for an initial Section 1 Grant is to prove "Good reason" so you will either have to have been a member of a Home Office approved club (or join one) and have passed your probationary period, or have the appropriate permission/s from a landowner to remove vermin from their land.

I have 3 permissions already, 2 of which I could use on an application, time wise I could probably justify taking on a fourth

Make sure that all your permissions are written down, signed by all parties, and not just verbal (if you haven't done so already).

So now all you need to do is "enjoy" filling all the forms in Homer face palm
Give me a chance to chat with my perms about it because it is very likely my application will involve a visit from the police.

Aso make sure your referees are suitable . some of the ones I asked had been bad boys when younger so they would not be deemed suitable . Not uncommon to here some one say they had the FEO ask for a another referee as one was not deemed suitable.

Also with your references keep in mind the police will ask if they think you should have a shotgun / firearm. If your references are anti gun this could effect your application
