So whats the difference?
Firstly - the hardware is IDENTICAL
The only difference is the software.
To upgrade it is a fee & is ordered from my shop here: https://shop.natechrony.com/products/steadyshot-advanced-software-upgrade
Software differences...Think of it as the "advanced" software, it has the movement capability - but it has a fair bit more & its where we're putting all the development effort.
The v2.5 is a perfectly solid unit, and already does a LOT more than the average chronograph - it'll satisfy all but the very incredibly demanding Chronograph users. So dont think of it as being neutered or half a chronograph.
We developed it over 2 years & user feedback for new features really, really dropped to basically nothing - so its very mature.
The (current) differences:

The (current) differences:
- Acceleration sensing capability (all the movement stuff)
- "AirSoft" mode
- fast projectile weight changes
- insanely high automatic fire rates (>2,000 shots per SECOND)
- Field mode (easily identify if a shot was above/below 3 pre-sent speeds)
- Ballistic mode
- Ability to connect to an ExtremeBallistic downrange & get Cd data for your projectile
- Comments on saved strings (only visible when downloading data)
- Decimal readout on/off
- Speed adjust in 0.1fps @ 1,000fps (to adjust units when using a pair together)
- Name the device - instead of http://steadyshot you can use http://nateschrony
- Few extra wifi settings to clear settings & a nicer page
- Overall better performance under the hood when using the interface
