'Must Haves' in a classic air pistol collection

Wow - loads of impressive pistols on display guys & starting to feel that I obviously haven’t been trying hard enough!🤣 Only the two myself - the obligatory Crossman 2240 .22 for dispatching disgruntled vermin in the traps & my coveted Webley Tempest .177 just because I’ve always loved them!👍

I don't have a Gat, but no collection should be without at least one pop-out pistol, so this is the one I have:

It is just as good (well equally as crap as a shooting piece) as a Gat, but it is a pretty little thing.

Nobody has mentioned the enormous Milbro Cougar. And I understand why! Unweildy and fitted with plastic trim that's about as tough as a Carr's water biscuit. Good fun with the shoulder stock until that failed too.

I was going to just collect Crosman pistols but so many others came my way!! 😊

As Russ said, The 600 is a must have!!, Brilliant fun rattling 10 pellets off as fast as you can squeeze the trigger!!

Of course everyone needs at least one Mak in their collection!

It was a piece of cr*p but, I do remember them advertising it being held by a voluptuous brunette which caught my 13 year old eye more than the gun !

Yes, A model 88, It's actually a lefty but the grip that is fitted was made by my mate whom I got it from, It came to me with it's original L/H grip too, I had a running search on fleabay but never got a hit 🫤
My three fave pistols:- Crosman 1300, Webley Premier (Steel), Webley Tempest - job done !

I once bought a lovely Crosman 1300, Ended up getting rid as the narrow pumping arm used to trap the skin at the base of my thumb all the time, It hurt like the bejaysus!!
