MTC 12x50 prismatic sight (pro’s and cons)

I am currently considering buying a new sight and am looking at MTC 12x50 prismatic SWAT I wear glasses and find it getting generally more difficult with conventional sights tunnelling and location of prey
What are the advantages/disadvantages of using zero eye relief scopes?
