Mendip shooting ground

Me too!

I've down in the indoor range all winter and I'm ready for the open air....

Back tomorrow with a bunch of old favourites to sight in.

But I have stay out of the shop; like a toy shop for grownups...
 
I've only managed one trip this year and get my bottle filled occasionally there too. It was very busy when i last went up but managed a seat and some targets at the end of the range were the order of the day. I actualy took my rangefinder to see how far it was from bench to the end but forgot to use it. I know there's marks on the wall but I think its about 30m!

Yes, it is; I was initially disappointed at my groups until I realised that my scope was on at 22 yards from shooting elsewhere...

I go during the week, being retired, and rarely dont have a range to myself...
 
Wednesday and Friday mornings seem to have there regulars that meet up but always try to make room if they can
 
Nice, il try and get up there in the summer on the outdoor range. Il have to get an AGF hat 🤣
