Everyone has a rifle they wish existed

The mythical return of an Air Arms break barrel, still discussed in rumour from time to time, or perhaps a completely new PCP from Weihrauch?

Personally, although I know it will never happen in a million years - I'd like to see a premium underlever from Daystate

Imagine a similar stock design to the Blackwolf with its lovely adjustable walnut set up, but with Daystate's take on a spring-piston powerplant and with open sights available as standard

I'd be curious to see what innovations they could come up with to try knock the TX200 and HW77/97 off their thrones

I'd certainly hand my money over for one

What does everyone else dream of? Be it an existing manufacturer re-releasing an old model, a new variant of an existing rifle, or something completely new - what rifle would you love to see arrive on the market?

I'd love it if a new company sprung up, one with no back catalogue but made decent high end versions of obsolete air rifles.

For example if I were the boss I'd make a brand new Tracker with a decent breech and nice walnut stock, no clacky ABT and a decent trigger.
I'd make a ProElite clone but with straight cylinder walls, again with walnut.
In fact walnut would be the only option because wanting beech is a lack of ambition, also they'd be individually tuned and made for either 12fpe or 18-20fpe, no strangling back for the uk.

Definitely agree about the walnut, if you want it to be pretty there's no other option

There is plenty of old interesting designs out there which could be great with some modern manufacturing standards, I haven't shot many but a lot of old Webleys and BSA's are mostly let down by crappy triggers as I understand it

My only "dream" guns are things that I could have made easily enough with enough money to throw at the problem. Just a battery of Steyr LGs in .177, .22, .25, and .30, and the same in Prosports. Matching scopes on all of them, except the .177 Steyr would have match dioptre sights, and the .30 Prosport would have Express sights.

I'm a man of simple tastes......

Recoilless break barrel that weighs under 3kg / 6.5lbs. 23-25mm piston with adjustable stroke. Simple cocking linkage that doesn't gall or 'clack'. Possibly theoben style gas ram. Deep glossy blacking. Please and thank you

Well stop bloody posting on here and go finish it then. (y)(y)

A full titanium copy of a Sportsmatch GC2 MK3, with user serviceable valving and an upgraded trigger (Air Arms Olympic unit would be nice).

Fitted with a high grade walnut copy of the original factory stock that incorporates an adjustable cheekpiece.
Thats another one I hadn't heard of previously heard of but looks a handsome thing

You do have good taste in rifles, and some nice toys!

Basically a .177 Single Stroke Pneumatic version of the EV2, putting out around 11ft/lbs.

Or failing that a multipump version of the Steyr H5A action. 10 pumps for 5x self indexing shots.
