Most double sockets are rated for 13A in total (design load of 20A max with diversity) not 2x 13A without diversity. Would be better to terminate the 6mm into a suitable JB then install 2 single sockets if going down this path.

An oven at 3.5kw and a Microwave rated at 1kw (top end of most residential microwaves) would still be under the max load 20A with diversity
As I said it's all to do with the load, wattage divided by voltage = amperage, and checking what the max is regarding your particular make of socket, some go as high as 26A max
