Is there a modern Crosman 600?

I've been after a 600 for a while and of course one hasn't appeared. Is there anything that could be classed as remotely similar? The closest I can think of myself would be a DU10 but like the Crosman they are unicorn poo too. Bolt action pistols do nothing for me and triggers indexing magazines are not what I'm after either. Whilst I love a revolver I have a 586 so that is covered. Is there anything else that can scratch that itch?
 
The Drulov is a five shot in 177, the 600 is a ten shot in 22 and both different beasts in how they operate and shoot, I own them both.
The 600 is superb, def more scarce these last 3/4 years, I sold a nice Sears Roebuck version on here sometime ago, I still have two others tho!
The only modern pistol I can think of is the Huben Gk1?
 
Im more a bolt action fan myself but I’ve been looking at a lot of 177 pistols lately.
Artemis CP400 seems to fit the bill but theres lots of replica multishot pistols, not all are blowback.
I had a Walther CP88 Competition in my hand in a shop last week… I never intended to spend as much as it was so left without it but I am tempted to go back. Beretta 92 and the many Colt 1911 also seem quite nice.

A lot of 177 pistols seem to be out of stock right now in online stores though.
 
Self indexing pistols are generally now 5 shot for competition use in comps like rapid fire and sport pistol. Power is usually good and triggers excellent, grips good, sights excellent as these are usually target pistols. Check out the Saleroom, currently 2x 600’s, a plinkomatic 177 version of the 600, and a Drulov
 
Did try a wanted ad and got one lead that lead to nothing. Thanks for the saleroom idea. A £30 postage to rfd only (plus rfd cost) plus 27% extras means any gun needs to be cheap to be a starter. I want to buy a gun not an anuity for their kids.

That’s the thing, if your not in a rush, they are out there at the right price
 
The Crosman 600 is unique and probably years ahead of it's time when in production.

They do appear from time to time - one landed on a dealer's table at Kempton 10 days ago after I put my camera away for under £300. Not sure if it sold.

Edit. I've since discovered it sold for £275 on the day of the fair.

That £275 becomes £409 after extras plus post plus rfd fee. The hammer price and real price bear little comparison.
 
With the purchase of a Crosman 600 is you will almost certainly need it to be serviced/overhauled, unless it has already been done that is. There are not too many who are experienced enough to do it properly.
 
I bid on a couple of lots from that auction and was well beaten. The prices were at least what they generally go for on here or even higher and that's before all the extras get added.

I see the auctioneers are not publishing the prices, do you know what the hammer prices were on the 600s and the 677 plinkomatic?
 
One 600 did £260. The other £400 iirc. Plinkomatic, no idea. All prices plus 27% and £42 delivery to rfd, plus their fee. Too rich for me.

Hello, it did indeed sell for £275, as I was the person that snapped it up at Kempton. A case of being in the right place at the right time.
Not mint, no origional box etc but it had been re sealed and that's what clinched the deal for me, and I want to use it and have some fun with it that's what its for after all, so the odd mark on the finish isn't the end of the world.
So far its worked without fault using H&N field target trophy pellets, is accurate and great fun to shoot.
I'm getting about 36 shots per Co² capsule, not sure if that's about right or not?

Well done. 36 shots sound about right to me - mine offer a similar shot count.
 
I've never actually counted mine to be honest, maybe I will next I use them!
