I'm looking for a multi-purpose hamster (knee rest / palm rest) for my new HW100X that will attach to the M-lok points under the forend.
It doesn't seem from my searching that such a thing exists off the shelf.

I'm not setting this rifle up as a dedicated FT rig, but even so I often plink and zero in the FT seated position. The hamster will double as a palm shelf for standing silhouette shooting and also provide a flat stable surface for informal bench.

Ideally the platform would be either a laminate with a reasonable match to the stock, or a satin black would be fine too as it would match the cheekpiece.

One option is a UIT rail hamster like this plus a M-lok to UIT adaptor like this but it's a little bit kludgy.

I'm minded to buy a few M-lok nuts and knock something up in scrap wood or 3d printer to try out with shapes and sizes.

Meanwhile I might sound out Warren Edwards to see what he thinks. He's made me a couple of nice custom hamsters for springers.

Any other ideas guys?

An mlok bipod folded up rearward would act as a rest / riser hamster. Failing that it's either mlok to UIT to off the shelf hamster or bespoke either permanently attached or a bit longer to use the cylinder band bolt and stock bolt.

Not sure how the mlok plate is secured but if it's bolted in perhaps you could use longer fixings to mount a hamster.

The Rowan chaps could probably adapt one of their delrin offerings?

If you can make you own unique one off to your design. I'm going to make one with a 4 figure grip.

I'm not keen on the idea of a folded up bipod. I think it'd have too much flex and also be uncomfortable to hold.

The plate is bolted in. The back of the plate is about 6" from the trigger guard so a 7-8" hamster with a strong enough cantilevered fixing would be fine. I think I'm going to get one of the Aeron hamsters anyway, as I can use it on my FWB 600 as well.

PRS do a MLOK to UIT converter and their own UIT hamster is a nicely machined item. Just added them to my tactical S400, worth checking out.
