Huntsman Rever cheek riser

Anyone have a better solution for a cheek riser on the walnut stock of a Daystate Huntsman Revere without drilling or sticking something to it? Prefer something that attaches with Velcro or straps... not neoprene sleeves. The blade is rather thin and I don't want to lower the scope mounts. I've seen this on Amazon but don't like the cartridge holder. Handy for pens, Polo mints or pellet sample tubes, I guess

To be honest, the best option if you're willing to send the stock off would be to get @nobby to convert the stock to an adjustable cheekpiece. More expensive to start but far better

That looks quite good for a non permanent solution.
I've got a leather wrap around thing that I can't think of the name, but it's not the comfiest.

@Corvus try some pipe insulation and wrap something round it to see how it feels being at the correct height

I have one similar to the ones you are looking at and the cartridge loops are held on by velcro, so are easily removed.

Depending on how you're using your rifle sometimes you need to put pressure on the cheek comb. Something soft will not always work, IMO.

These are very elegant stocks and quite slender in places. I have a modified technique in these cases. The pins have to be placed off centre and the forward bush smaller in diameter than the rear one.

Why anyone would want to cover that up with some cheap rubber goodness only knows.
