I am looking for some advice about the above named gun.
I have two Air Arms, a S400f and a S510R US and two Daystates a Daystate Wolverine C Mk.2 and a Huntsman Revere.
I need someone to give me some advice on whether I should or shouldn't own a Huntsman Classic. There is one local but the owner marks the condition as 7/10, no original mag, only a Carm one that slips out of the actioning, he wants £550 for it which I thought was a bit high, what do you think it's worth
So the advice I'm looking for is, should I walk away or give it a go, and if I did look at it what should I be looking out for. Any advice and tips would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

Great guns but I would say that is a little rich. I bought mine off here for £450. Mine is in excellent condition and is in .20 calibre. It also came with 1x daystate mag and a few other bits.
If the gun is in average condition with a sloppy mag, I would keep looking.

That’s definitely a bit steep for a classic in 7/10 condition.
The mag is an easy fix. A new one from Carm is less than £25 (sounds like the magnet has gone missing from the back if it’s slipping out)
But considering I paid £550 for a mint Regal HR over two years ago, that’s too much money.
Might be worth a look just in case it’s got a really beautiful walnut stock (some do), because a stock can always be brought back to life.
They are very well built guns and there are plenty of people who can work on them.
But it won’t be any better than your Revere.
£350 tops for me personally.

As above ⬆️ £350 if your determined to own it but I would walk away.
There's plenty of nice classic guns out there to be bought, its just a matter of time & patience

@ChrisHobbs
Hi Chris and thanks for the comments. Your valuation was in line with what I thought, but I was wondering if I was missing something, but I will be leaving that one well alone.

@Outkastmike Hi and thanks for your comments I will be walking well away from this one, I do like the more classic style of rifle so will just keep my eyes open. Maybe a Regal HR would come up for sale locally, I can but dream.

Gareth.
I've had both a Revere & the older unregulated Regal both were incredible guns in both operation and looks.

That's rich to say the least. I was going to list my Airtech regulated and tuned custom Daystate Regal on here when I get time.

I was going to list for £650, bearing in mind that has a stripey stock, £300 worth of tuning and custom parts, and 4 mags. It shap makes a factory huntsman classic with one mag look daft at £550.

Dong get me wrong, I love shooting both Air Arms but shooting the Revere Safari just seems a little bit better, a solid feel about it.so I will be happy with what I have. (until something else comes along).

@Jonnyovy don't think your Regal will be on the classifieds on here for long, sounds a lovely bit of kit

Classic prices do seem to have increased in the last couple of years
Lower shot count, but better balanced and better looking than the Regal

I'd agree in less than perfect condition, 550 is steep though
