In the other tender it was 20m in 2022.

New firearms licensing database offers significant improvements

The Home Office has begun tendering for a new system to replace the National Firearms Licence Management System in England and Wales.

First reported in The Register, the pre-procurement notice will start the process of replacing the National Firearms Licence Management System (NFLMS). The Home Office is expecting to pay up to £20 million for a new system, with the plan being for it to be in place within five years.

it will be the tax payer paying which the public and so it should be as its for public safety plus us shooters.

You can't just go around fixing problems!!!

If there were no problems with licencing you wouldn't need to ban a type of firearm every 10-20 years.

Anything that makes their lives easier seems sensible to me.

Anything that makes it easier for the public to get firearms- or apply on a whim- seems unlikely they will go for it.
