OMG!
Smoking, drinking on the job, one obviously under age!
No H&S PPE, that guy up the ladder, had not done the proper course.
No diverse or body positive staff.
No chemtrails, suncream, chemicals on the crops.
How did they survive!

Imagine the cost of a loaf of bread it was done like that today.
1000 acres can be done reasonably well with one farmer and a few bits of machinery nowadays.

I remember the old horse drawn binders & ( stooks ) of corn as a lad with my dad.
We had Irish labourers to help with the threshing & my mother had to feed them all ( hungry lot ) I was spoilt rotten by them as I remember.
Maybe not so good old days
