How do I attach a bipod to my break barrels?

I've never owned a bipod before and I realised when looking to get one. I have no idea how to attach it to the rifle ‍.

What's the common methods to attach them, and are there specifically any non-destructive ones for rifles that don't have rails/mounts/attachments for them.

General opinion is do not use on a spring rifle. ( Try resting what you are shooting on a hard surface and you will see why ).

Get a padded tripod for a springer,

The vanguard porta aim is perfect for a springer.

I have a bag rest, is it possible my rifles are bouncing on that too, if its too hard?

As said, bipods are generally not fitted to springers as they may affect accuracy by not allowing the rifle to recoil - some do have success with one though and they can be attached using a fore-end sling screw

You should have your rifle fore stock resting on your front hand resting on top of your bag rest. Try it with a glove on. Read up all you can on here and the web on "artillery hold".

Sitting or standing I use a set of Primos Gen3’s with my TX, just added some cotton padding to the Vee and make sure to locate the stock in the same position every time, which in my case is by using the fore end screws in the centre of the Vee.

No use whatsoever, other than using as a stand ... anything attaching to the barrel will affect both accuracy and consistency
