Tell me about it . 68 this month.
Moved house 3 weeks ago, big downsizing but plenty of land.
Due to problems with my buyers finance set up we actually owned and had to maintain 2 houses for almost 4 months.
Double bills plus a 10 hour drive at least once a week, all sorted now.

Happy wife, new toys already planned.

A friend of ours was finally moving to France with his new French wife and was transporting his remaining stuff in space he'd paid for in a curtain sided artic. We helped him load it, which took a fair few hours. The few things that we couldn't quickly fit in ended up staying, because the new owners of his house were standing watching us loading and getting impatient. The last thing he said to us, knowing that we were planning our move in two years time was "start packing now". So we did and that's how long it took; the last three months were still pretty hectic.

Hope it all goes well for you @billy.whizz , but I think you may have left things a little late? Perhaps round up some helpers?
