Happy New gun to me day, picked up a Walther Rotex RM8 0.177 from my son in law @Bazzatron whilst visiting him and my daughter.

We paid a trip to his local gunclub in Gainsborough for some 20meter indoor bench rest shooting followed up with some outdoor plinking on the range with my 0.22 Weirauch HW97KT and actually got to practice some decent hold over shots out to 50 meters

HNGD and enjoy! I am looking at one of these for a friend of mine that has started shooting but doesn't have his own rifle so borrowing one of mine. He is on a bit of a budget so i'm trying to help him out with getting his own setup.
 
What spec is the scope. I am currently using a Hawke fast mount 6-24x50 and really like it. Not the best scope in the world but decent for what i paid for it.
 
I've got two.

Nothing wrong with Hawke scopes, very good value, I mostly use them on my guns and have been very pleased with them. Plenty of better scopes out there but they do come at a cost!

Completely agree. I was coming from cheap Amazon scopes so when i got the Hawke it was a game changer. Don't get me wrong the cheap scope worked and i did use it for 6 months but you defo notice the difference when you step up to a quality scope.

Most Techs these days have never seen a carburetor or points🤣 oh the joy of tuning by ear, including balancing carbs with a bit of vacuum pipe to listen to the air flow 🙌🤣
 
Carburetor moped? nah i'm joking. Most kids these days would have no idea what a car choke is.
