It’s been a long time coming, this. Whilst it’s not the .25 I’ve been looking for, for many years, I now have a beauty of an Airsporter in, the still very rare, .177 calibre.

It’s a 1985/86 taploader. I’ve not used it yet. The stock is in great condition, the blueing could do with some love. That said, it’s complete with the original open sights and front hood.

I’ve added an early 90s Zeiss scope, which looks great on it.

In my opinion it’s one of the nicest looking spring rifles available. I absolutely love it!

That's lovely mate. I remember when these came out, never seen anything like it. Well I was only 15 at the time!
I was born in 86, so about the time this was made, which makes it even more appealing :).

I’ve always liked them. This is my first one but I’d like a few more. I believe five variants in total. .177, .22 in taploaders. .177 .22 and .25 in RB2
 
Congratulations, they are something special the old Tap loader BSA Stutzen's.. Classic airgunning :love:
