Today is a good day!

I've had a Katran CB for a while but just couldn't gel with it, great rifle just didn't work for me or my style of shooting/pest control.
So browsing my local the other day and come across a Pathfinder and a Katran SC, home and ponder for the weekend... Decision made, pop in to gun shop on my lunch break and get the deal done, so traded in my CB and came away with the SC, Pathfinder was nice but the SC just pipped it in every department.

All fixtures and fittings are temporary as it's only a month to my day of birth and the Mrs has stated, just send me the link ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway enough of that...

The SC ticks all of my required boxes. It's just much more suited to my shooting, around members of public quite often, from my van, hides etc.

When I bought the CB I thought it will be perfect, large shot count, "compact", sit in a backpack or under poncho when covert is required,
It isn't compact imo, I don't need that many shots, it didn't sit nicely in backpack or under poncho and I just didn't like the balance of it, whereas the SC is, does and feels a much nicer balanced package
 
Ah I thought maybe be more weighted towards the shoulder due to bottle making easier/nicer to handle? I did look at the sc but read they was only around 60 shots?
 
For me personally it was the opposite,
I think the .177 is 60 I've not shot this down from full but it's quoted at 90 in .22
