Hi all,

I’ve been scraping around for literally anything at all surrounding the use and operations of the Snowpeak/Artemis/SMK M30B.

I’m in the U.K. and mine was delivered just a couple of hours ago. After unboxing it, I took the time to read what turned the to be the most incredibly useless manual that came with it, That manual doesn’t even help me with how to charge it, change the single shot plate to the magazine, explain the different parts of the rifle, the gauges and adjustment screws, nothing really.
I hoped I’d find something useful on the net.
Well, I was wrong, I couldn’t find anything useful at all on the internet.

I’m new to shooting, well, 6 months of taking it seriously. I started with a couple of CO2 replicas around 4 years ago, but then recently stepped up and bought a Crosman Silhouette 1701P, which I love.

Well, at least the Crosman Silhouette 1701P came with a decent user manual, and with a lot more information online too.

So, anything that anyone can point me towards that will help me would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Thank you. That was a great help indeed. I think that searching for “Snowpeak” rather than Artemis may have been detrimental to my search results.
Yeah, Snowpeak guns are often badge engineered for other manufacturers. They can be called Snowpeak, Artemis, SMK or Zasdar. Hope this helps…..

Hello, Dan does make good videos but why in a wood shed ????!!!!!!!!

Perhaps because it is where he has permission to do this.

Anyway, rather a meaningful review from a woodshed, as opposed to generic BS from a comfy desk and some unverifiable shooting results in a tidy garden setting...............

Thanks, Zasdar is a new in to me which country(ies) is that?

I’ve also found that dropping the “B” off the “M30B” helps too. I’m not sure what the differences between the original and the B version are, or indeed what then changes to make the “C” version which I have seen reference to.

All four names are helpful when searching for stuff on the rifle. I’m really glad there’s such a strong and helpful community, such as you guys) otherwise it would be a total nightmare trying to get anything done.

Zasdar, this country mate….

Glad you’re getting closer to finding what you need.

That looks sweet as. I bought a Crosman Silhouette 1701P a couple of months ago. I totally love it. It will be a long time, if ever, before I can improve my own shooting to get anywhere near its capability.
I must say, I have heard of someone that put a stock onto it and that is a sorely tempting possibility. I had my neck broken a few years back, and there are days when I, quite literally because some of my spinal cord got shagged, don’t have the strength to lift the 1701P up to horizontal.
I got a lovely (as in cheap haha) pistol scope for it that is nearly as long as the barrel. I’ve heard other people say it would make a good carbine. At least I think that’s what they said. If I’m using the correct terminology that is?

These are the first of many YouTube articles on the m30

Thank you for those Mark. I have seen the Andy’s Airguns one. The other I have bookmarked to sit and watch with a notebook and pencil 😊

Now that I realise that the 30B is really just the same as the 30, and that Snowpeak has various other aliases, with Artemis seemingly the most common, it’s made searching a little more fruitful.
Any more links would be gratefully received though. I am never someone to turn down advice and suggestions.

Cheers

I just searched YouTube for "m30 air rifle" , theres a fair few reviews and clips on there

I did similar. Originally though I was a little unsure of looking at anything that wasn’t specifically “Snowpeak M30B” in case it told me something that wasn’t applicable. OK still feeling my way into the PCP world.
I found quite a few in (I think it was) Spanish,
and now of course, once I’ve opened up a few of those, YouTube thinks it should suggest more of them 😜
One day YouTube will auto translate on the fly into English. I’m sure the tech is available now for that. Don’t know why it’s not available.

I have manual that includes all the info even all sizes of the o-rings and the exploded diagram but unfortunately is only in Spanish although you can always use Google translate if you don't speak Spanish. If you want a pdf copy of it send me a pm
