there isnt one we have HFT boys shooting FT in wales you can still bracket and use what ever range finding you currently use and you can move the PA to help se the target it just meens you need to put some work in learning them extra 10 yardsA question if I can... this will be my first ever foray into FT, so I can blunder in naively and just use my usual HFT rig with the addition of a teeny tiny cushion, or I can properly embrace the whole discipline and try this range-finding parallax malarky. Trouble is I don't think any of my existing scopes are going to have a high enough magnification. So, my question to those who shoot FT: whats the minimum mag you could reasonably use? It'll give me an idea what to look out for.
As Doz said you can bracket as we still use pretty standard targets not designed to eliminate bracketing, any target beyond 35 mtrs will be a 40 mm kill zone, if you want to properly range find via parallaxing the higher mag the better to a maximum of 60 mag id say.A question if I can... this will be my first ever foray into FT, so I can blunder in naively and just use my usual HFT rig with the addition of a teeny tiny cushion, or I can properly embrace the whole discipline and try this range-finding parallax malarky.
