We have a couple of them here at the range. I think they'll be good as a private gun but for experiences they didn't stand up to the intensive use we gave them. Parts wore out quick. The internals are cast like the other gsg guns.
When they worked they were really nice to shoot and accurate enough with the iron sights. Unless you're mag-dumping hundreds of rounds it should last a lot longer than ours did.
We went with the RAK22 which is built more like an AK and is all steel, should last us longer.
ETA I'll have a look and see about the handguards. I know one has the railed foreend and folding stock but I think the other has a wooden one. If it is, I'll take it off and send it to you.
