Ordered myself a Reximex Lieva in black as I like black.

Ordered it one evening last week when trying to work out if I could find time to drive to my nearest store that had one in stock but just couldn't find a time when I would be able to.

The ordering process was simple. Even threw a tin of JSB Beasts 16,2gr for increased fun times.

Got a call on Wednesday which unfortunately I missed, but I called them back and someone answered instantly with a friendly tone. It wasn't the person who called me, but they got my order without an issue and told me that I would be the first delivery this morning between 07:30 and 09:30. Considering I aim to get my my club for about 10:00 this sounded brilliant to me. No waiting around to test it out!

I got up at 07:15 and got ready. Around 07:40 my doorbell went to a very friendly man, who I invited in as I wasn't sure on the whole process. He just said he needed to see my ID. Took a picture on his phone of my driving licence, got me to sign the form on the box and the rifle was mine.

Back in the house I got it out of the box and checked the rifle over. Looks immaculate. No time to waste I ate some breakfast and jumped in my car arriving at the club just before 09:00. A whole hour before I'm normally there. Result.

The magazines took some figuring out. I use a Single Shot Loader in my Reximex Mito and I have never even tried the magazines. So I'm not sure if they are the same. As this isn't a target / HFT / whatever else gun there's no benefit to the SSL. Though one is included which looks like the one that originally came with my Mito and was okay, except it loads the wrong side so I got one from Shooting Saddles who's a member of my club. I will test the Mito SSL in it at some point as they look identical to me.

Just got to learn how to shoot the thing now. I hit a few targets with the open sights, but I have secured a scope again from SS as he was selling a few locally.

Can't recomend The Wolfman more, simple, easy, and turned up when they said they would.

Getting an update on this.

First the bad. My new Lieva appears to be incapable of holding air. I got it moments before heading out to shoot it and being my exciting new toy it went bang bang and targets fell over. So much fun.

I’m in the habit of filling my guns up before leaving the club or if it’s late in the day and everyone is already leaving I bring my bottle into the house when I get home and fill them up there. Though sometimes I have visitors or I need to do something and I forget.

I decided it was time to start working on protecting the wood and I got the rifle on the dining room work table. No air! Well I must have forgotten to put some in. Bottle out the garage and connected it up. 200ish bar should do the job. All set up and I’ll start work in the morning.

Come down in the morning and someone has stolen my air. I can’t see it in the room so it might have all gone out the window.

Did I fill it? I’m sure I did. So I fill it again. Leave it for a few hours. Yes it’s leaking. Hold it up to my ears for a check and I can’t hear a thing. It’s lost about 80 bar at this point.

I gave The Wolfman a call Monday morning and I asked them about it. Instantly they offer me a return label. Better than my last leaking gun from elsewhere that wanted to class it as a second hand trade in. I asked if they planned to repair it and they said they’d just return it to the manufacturer. I asked what the deal is for a refund or replace. Explained I like the rifle as it reminds me of being a kid with my now departed grandparents.

He says he’s got plenty of them in. So they’ll just swap them at the weekend. Perfect!

Sunday morning a nice man arrives with a new rifle and takes the old one away.

Only issue is I’m not convinced the new one is new. Still has the tag on it but the wood on the foregrip is a little scuffed. The accessories box looks to have been ripped open rather than the tape being cut. There’s a clear finger sized hole where they’ve done that. Oh well.

I didn’t get chance to shoot it at the weekend so this coming I hope to. I’ve put a bit of tape on the gauge to mark it and I’m checking it every now and then to see no leaks. Let’s get some lead down it and see how it goes.

Great customer service from TWM. I’ll be buying from them again.
