Getting addictive

I've recently been bitten by the replica pistol bug, I always thought co2 pistols would be cheap and tinny and basically toys, but no they are ace, really good fun. Over the last 2 months I've acquired a cp88, a beretta 92fs, a schofield revolver, a s&w model 29 and today a sheridan cowboy revolver. I also had a look at a glock 17 gen 5, when will the madness end?
Think I'm about to go down this rabbithole. Which I your favourite so far and why. I want a replica but want it to be reasonably accurate ie hitting tin cans at 10 metres when I'm actually aiming at them

I may have missed a couple.

I thought I was building a nice little collection of replicas but the Government in their wisdom seem hell bent on stopping me.
I'm losing 3 at a cost of nearly 400 notes. I think by the end of 2026 I have none left :)

May be the .22 blank firers will be next, then the SMG's and I'll lose more. I'm thinking of just buying photographs of my favourite handguns, they'll be the only ones your allowed to keep:-)

Thats what you call a collection.

I'm looking to get one. but where to begin? Lad at the range has an MP-40 that is wicked fun, but liking the idea of a wheel gun first. Dan Wesson, or a Barra or ASG Schofield, any suggestions?

You cannot go wrong with any of the M29's, the Dan Wesson 715 is a nice piece too, but the Remington Sheridan cowboy gun is a nice pistol too that fires both pellet and bb's.

The Crosman Sheridan 1875 is a really nice piece of kit, quite weighty and has an added advantage over the
Umarex Colt SAA in that the Sheridan is field strippable
I have 2 Sheridans one of which i converted into an 1888 model ... i also made real wood
grips for both as i think it adds that little bit extra.
these are well worth the money without a doubt

That model 29 looks cool, just might be my next purchase.
Nice looking revolvers. There is a choice of 4 Umarex M29's.

Smith & Wesson M29 3" 4.5 mm (.177) BB
Smith & Wesson M29 8 3/8" 4.5 mm (.177) BB
Smith & Wesson M29 6.5" 4.5 mm (.177) Pellet
Smith & Wesson M29 8 3/8" 4.5 mm (.177) Pellet

I like the idea of having both extremes, the 3" and the 8 3/8" versions.

I've also been bitten by the collector bug. I have a 'Military & police firearms' theme for my collection. Only have 4 so far ( the 2011 is the airsoft pistol I used to compete with so doesn't qualify for my theme but I decided to put it up anyway!) My future shopping list contains a MP40, Stg44, Thompson, SMLE, Browning hi-power, P38, PPK, Webley, Beretta M35, Nambu, Mauser Hsc and no doubt a few more I've forgotten about. Not bothered about shooting any of them as they will only ever be on display but realism is most important. It's going to take some time to gather all these as they aren't cheap but I'll get there.

Nice starter collection lizzyfan, I dont fire mine either, bought just for show. I do like the firearms from the WWII and have built up quite a collection. I like your choice for future buys. Heres just some of mine:
