... and in our own garden. We've been busy catching up on maintenance after the winter so no chance to get out with the gun, but this one came along to the feeder as we were working nearby. It's the first one to appear in the garden for a long spell so it was down tools, up to the house for s510 and dropped him at 30 ish yards with one of Dr B's brain stem shots. Took some pics of a few things we've been up to as well just for a bit of interest. The Tikki bar needed a refirb and an old playhouse after the kids turned into a lookalike beachhut.IMG_20250425_165915719_BURST000_COVER.jpgIMG_20250425_164057527_BURST000_COVER.jpgIMG_20250425_162647736_HDR.jpg

What a lovely set up! Nice CIU sign, I’ll bring my cards when next in your area!
Cheers HH, it came from the Jubilee club in the village, which sadly had to shut a few years ago. It's since been bought and resurrected as a sports bar. We did some work on the refirb and the old " Jube " sign was destined for the skip so I rescued it for the Tikki bar which was nearing completion at the time. Incidentally, Heinekin lager was 27p a pint in the Jube when I first went there in the 70's.

1st - OMG I love your garden!!
2nd - Great shooting! Perfect shot.
3rd - I've seen so few greys this year, not only while out shooting, but also in general.
Thanks for the comments Urbanxi, the Mrs has since added the finishing touches to the tikki bar and it now looks really fab, I'll have to post a few more pics. Same here with the greys, not nearly so many about as last year, but on the up side, many more birds around.
