Fail Mail… AGAIN!

Looks like Royal Mail have lost a second Forum Goodie bag I’ve won in the brilliant Forum giveaways, the first went missing when the idiots left the parcel in the communal area of the flats were I live at Christmas time, now another which was posted last weekend has disappeared into the matrix, was collected and hasn’t been updated since 🤬🤬🤬
 
Think there have been general post issues following the Bank holiday, I am waiting on various letters posted around the end of last month.

My daughter has regular diabetes meds, I would never dream of trusting them with anything like that
 
In the future when selling anything on this forum it will be collection only as I have lost or were damaged too many items with Royal Fail.
 
I got a letter yesterday dated the 29th of August so don't panic yet
 
I have another parcel on it's way to me, but there's something amiss. A knock on the door at 10.03am told me the postie had arrived, but without my parcel. I went online to check the tracking, it's now showing as "we are expecting it". However, it was shipped last Thursday, for guaranteed delivery on Monday, it was collected by Royal Fail the same day and taken to the local sorting office and according to the tracking, it had left there at 19.21 to be forwarded to my local sorting office. I checked yesterday and it stated that it had arrived at my local sorting office and would be out for delivery today.

Hopeless.
 
Royal mail were performing well for me this week but fell at the final hurdle , I posted a faulty ECU for repair on Tuesday afternoon , it arrived at the destination yesterday morning , the repair guys diagnosed and fixed the unit and posted it back to me last night , tried to deliver to me this morning whilst I was at work but failed to notice the list of 5 close neighbours who take in parcels for me ! I've arranged to collect from my local post office but we'll see how that plays out , did the same for a parcel they attempted to deliver last week but they came back the following day and left it with a neighbour 🤬
 
Just sent my Kral back to the RFD as Parcelforce didn't bother to collect. Hope it gets there, actually as long as they refund me I couldn't care less.
 
My "Tuesday promised" delivery arrived just after 2pm today and the packing was damaged with tape covering the hole, but the contents were all in order.

A Temu order of fishing hooks, swivels, rig clips and other bits and pieces also arrived. The hooks are spectacularly strong and I reckon could pull a fully laden 44 tonne artic out of a muddy field. I've already made up some cod pennel rigs, using the 4/0 "Aberdeen" style hooks and 2/0 Chinu, lethally sharp and very secure, my hands have several puncture holes already;). The size 4, 2, 1, 1/0 and 2/0 hooks are equally as sharp and the other fishing related items I've bought are of excellent quality. I cannot say I've been disappointed in anything I've bought so far.

My forum goodie bag arrived in the end, @Ganton Gunner checked the tracking because of the mess up last time and nearly had a heart attack when he saw it was dumped in my unsecured post box and pm’d me straightaway, they didn’t even bother ringing the intercom or doorbell, luckily I was keeping an eye on the tracking myself, saw it was delivered and rescued it it before it went walkies again 😂
 
Follow up from post #10 , they messed up again so despite sending me confirmation for delivery to my local post office they sent it out today and left it with a neighbour , they could have done that yesterday 🤬
 
Today's parcel delivery window ( RM 24 ) has just opened from 2 hours ( yesterday at 19.26 hrs) to 6 hours (!) today at 09.30.
It will probably be left in plain view (as always) and no ring on the doorbell (too difficult).
Rant over. Most of the courier services are now beating RM service hands down.

Trying to make a complaint on the phone is impossible as Nobody cares 😡 I had a parcel due last week and it was a failed delivery as he “couldn’t gain access” even tho I was sitting in my van at the end of the drive watching him drive off 🤬 Nextday can’t deliver “as no one is home” 🙄 It is my work address covered by CCTV and I was at the property all day!! So 3rd time lucky me thinks so I will reroute it to the local postoffice … This was Saturday,DING DONG!!! ON MY WORKSHOP DOORBELL AT 2.30PM !!!! 🤬🤬🤬 bloody useless,”apparently” they are trying out a new system which is complete shite!!
