Element HYPR-7

@azz1985 Some photos from the Element optics facebook page. The clarity and depth of field looks great 🤠

Yeah that looks absolutely awesome 😍 you almost don't even have to look through it them pictures tell it all 👌

I don’t need this, but damn do I want it.

Yeah I've got the opposite problem I'm in need of another scope and I don't have any other prismatic and this is literally 🤯 its kinda a no brainer really lol 😁

I might of missed it, but have we got any idea of the RRP?

They don't talk price at the shot show because its a trade show 🤔 I should imagine tho it'll be into the £600 range if not more

That said they don't have a habbit of pricing out their potential customer base (unlike some firms) and as a rule you get a hell of alot of bang for your buck with element.
Just take the element the titan for example if that had any other brand on it it would be £900 odd all day long not £600!

So with that said imo £600 is a fair guesstimate imo and my fingers and toes are crossed its less than that obviously 😆

Will just have to wait hope pray and see 😁👍

One sales website is saying they will be available from the 2nd quarter of the year but no price as yet, but don’t think it will be long before we find out. They say both mechanically and optically it is an easier scope to build, but it does have HD glass and if they have bought the intellectual property rights from immersive optics, then this will be factored in. I have a feeling they may pitch it somewhere between the Titan and Nexus.

I'd say £1200 including the Bluetooth range finder which is a seperately purchased accessory, clearly you'd need this if you wanted to use the ballistic calculator function

At last years shooting show when I was looking at the immersive prototype , figures of £800-£900 were being thrown about . I can’t obviously confirm that or prove it but that was what “they” being Thomas Jacks mentioned were hopeful for .
Now it’s got element written on it , I’d expect perhaps 30% on top of that … but …..

You will likely get a better end product , better information , support & software updates moving forward with ownership and without a doubt on something like this an absolutely rock solid no quibble warranty .

Just wondering if it will take an NV add on such as the 007 range?

Thats the thing if you listen to what he said you actually don't.
If you have a normal range finder provided the ballistic data you input is correct you just spin the wheel on top and "dial" your range and it will predict the poi with a marker on the crosshairs.

With the Bluetooth range finder either the weapon mounted or handheld (both I suspect in the works) it does it all for you.

This is something I've never seen and is simple yet effective.

Pards work with the EDgun stalker and thats prismatic so I'm almost certain it will work with the hypr 7 the defining factor will be actually attaching it.

Looking at it looks like it just needs an adapter making up on a 3d printer.
Matt said they are working on scope cam setups to work with the hypr 7 and by they I'm pretty sure he was referring to sideshot.

It’ll be interesting to see how a digital reticle looks through a digital NV add on .

He said he’d it’d work with front thermal clip ons but again I’ll be keen to see that for myself .

So it's a "manual" ballistic calculator if you don't have the bluetooth rangefinder?

Cheers

Bruce

From what I understand Bruce you basically set it up on your phone via a app and input everything like you do on the pard fps, bc, bullet weight and zero distance, and you can even select or "draw" your own ret.

You upload that data to the scope and basically the dial on top when adjusted will give you a predicted poi on the crosshairs.

Also the scope has sensors build into it that read level (cant) humidity, barometric pressure etc etc etc so really clever stuff

I've seen pictures from the pard looking through the denal stalker and it looked amazing.
tbh I didn't expect much and thought meh how good can a prismatic be compared to a proper scope?

I was pleasantly surprised, the thermal tho that is something I'd like to see And can imagine it would look just as good, the brightness would be the issue.

oh and when they say "clip-ons" tho they mean this

Not like the krypton that actually mounts to the front objective 😁👍

Prism aside The Dedal stalker is an etched reticle , the Hypr is 100% a digital projection like a red dot site , how that detail is translated through a rear add on will be interesting

So in conclusion this can be used with a standard range finder like a hawke or a le032.

or if you get their unit that connects to the scope it will do it all on its own no need to "dial" manually
