drilling holes

is the easy bit .
Its working out where to put them that takes the time .

Do you have a 3d printer or know someone that does? I tend to design and print a 3D template for jobs like this do I can check the alignment and then use them as a guide to start drilling.

It’s a roller box that really isn’t intended to be used on my machine .
It’s going on there whether it likes it or not

4 corresponding holes left to do now in this chunky angle plate
Amazing bits of kit, some great finishes on even mild steel. Not used one for many years (or thread rolls) but really should get another one.
 
If I recall the tool is infront of the rollers so the run on the concentric cutting diameter.

Anyone used thread roller on a capstan?
Turn to the effective diameter, and wham!! The roller form the thread via plastic deformation, very strong threat, and super fast. 😁 those were the days 😁
