According to the blurb, the lane regulator suppsedly gives more shots per fill as it improves shot consistency. What are the actual experiences of shooters who have fitted the lane regulator?

Gi'us a clue what gun. Normally regs are not plug and play but need correct setting up.

Here's a BSA Ultra SE with a Lane regulator wot I been done gone and done earlier.

I put one in my FTP and didn’t notice any differences in shot count.

It depends on the gun.

I have fitted external Lane regulators to two Air Arms S200s which were previously unregged.
The shot count before fitting the regulators were typically about 40 shots. This is because there is a pressure "sweet spot" where the shots are consistent, so the count is low.

After fitting the regulators, and setting up the rifles properly, the shot counts have gone up to around 80 shots per fill... and with a shot variation of about 7 to 9 ft.per.sec. over the shot string.

It's a good upgrade and definitely worth doing.

No idea what the graphs are showing...
Start with a simple guide to how a PCP works

MV = muzzle velocity and is the Y axis, the vertical one
X axis, the horizontal one is the shot count
Calcs is the data points used for the calculations below the chart
Linear is the tendency (trend) for the data (muzzle velocity) to rise or fall (fall in this case) as the bottle pressure falls. This is indicative of how well the reg is set (sealed), how much/little the MV is affected by bottle pressure. The closer to 0 (flatter) the trend the better the reg is set (sealed) and the less it is affected by bottle pressure.
