Simple question, when lined up on the target and ready to shoot, do you.... (see poll)
Hold your breath before pulling the trigger?
or
Not hold your breath at all and just continue breathing as you pull the trigger?
If you do hold your breath, do you....
Hold on an "In" breath?
or
Hold on an "Out" breath?
My understanding is that if your hold your breath on an "in" breath then you tend to tense up, which is not what you want when shooting.
Whereas if you hold your breath on an "out" breath, then you tend to relax.
Obviously if you hold your breath for too long, eg: more than a few seconds, then you tend to tense up again anyway.
Cheers
