Ok i know nothing of this gun except is suppose to be powerful. I can buy one for $360 looks to be in good shape. Lightly used.22 cal
Would you do this or wait a couple months for a Hw80 in 22 and put the TbT magnum kit in.

Don't think they make the 350 anymore so parts in the future might end up very hard to come by if they aren't already.
I'd keep looking and try to find yourself a second hand HW80 or the Beeman R1 you mentioned wanting in another thread.

the 350 is a big full size rifle and to make it under 12fpe seems like a waste of time but that is what i thought about a 54 till i saw it shoot on AAR
parts are fairly common for the rifle so i don't see that as a problem today
rifle is still listed on the Diana web site

Everyone will tell you to go for the Weihrauch but they are not the be-all and end all of airguns. Many of those who suggest Weihrauch may have no experience of Diana and any suggestion becomes worthless. Find out the truth by checking out You Tube as you will find several reviews for both guns on there. The 350 is still in production and capable of 20fpe, which should not be a problem in the States. The trigger on it will be a T06 which as good as any, as to tuning all it will need is a decent tight fitting spring guide and a piston liner to remove any twang and make it smooth cocking and shooting.

No mention by the OP of it going to sub12 plus as he is in the US and saying he heard its powerful. I would think he wants it above our UK limit.

The barrel droop could be an issue on the 350. Go for the HW80.

Practically all HWs i own have barrel droop- some quite acute but i have manged to overcome and use them with no ill effect. Similarly i have some Dianas here also with a barrel droop. Similarly this has never stopped me enjoying the guns. In all instances and no matter who the maker is, i so wish more care was taken to avoid manufacturing this into the gun however.
I am a big fan of the HW80 and own several of them. Likewise i also own even more Dianas and for good reason. I do own a 350 but its absolutely neutered as it was imported at German power levels. A bit like owning a V8 car with half the spark plugs removed. It will never see its full potential here due to our laws so will at best only ever see power levels around 11.5 when (if ever) i get around to it.
From what i see and read the 350 is capable of higher output than 20 ft llbs and may well reach higher values than the 80. I suspect its swept volume is higher but i may be wrong. My hunch is that both guns can be made to be very good high power springers, but i will never be able to comment on that out of experience. I can comment on the HW80 at the UK limit and its a fine rifle. I can only imagine the 350 could match it. But I'll never know.
Best wishes with whatever you decide to purchase.
Dave
