hi everyone. ive seen a non screeen, but electronic version of the daystate airwolf in a local shop. i know theyre an older rifle now, would you buy one if the money was right? if not, why not....
thanks
thanks
You should try using the round “o” rings mate.I would buy it, everytime lidl has boxes of assorted I rings, I buy them!
After stopping the leaks I would sell it on

The straight “I” rings never work![]()
Same as my Huntsman Regal and WolverineMy Airwolf is the most accurate gun I’ve ever shot.
And guess what?
It’s never leaked![]()

That's their best "get out" excuse yet! It's nothing to do with the age of the metal, I can assure you.Any old daystate bottle gun ie airwolf, air ranger must have the bottle and bottle adapter changed at 10 years old I believe it is as stated on the Daystate website for the bottle adapter. There has been a few that have gone bang! recently, including one posted on here not that long ago![]()
It’s all down to personal preference and personal experience in the end I suppose. That’d do it!
I had a mate who had one: needing keys and to keep the battery charged is an extra embuggerance no one needs!![]()
Is this why all the original Rapids have blown up?they are non regulated and with pressure going up when filled then pressure dropping down as you shoot down then refill back up, the weak points get fatigued, not bothering with this discussion again its been done before, but its highly advisable to renew them. They are old guns now![]()

There’s many members on here that say just topping up a PCP is more of an embuggerance than they need in their lives.
I’ve never found it a pain to keep it charged. And if turned off with the key, the battery stays charged for months. I’ve never come close to running it out.
The Zulus on my Regal is more hassle to charge, and runs out far quicker.
We’ve all had a mate, or a mate of a mate, who’ve had a bad gun.
I guess that’s why no one buys Weihrauch spring powered air rifles anymore. Because they all gaul and eat themselves.

I’ve known people that have turned up at the range that have forgotten to bring their pellets. The only person I ever knew who had one bought it secondhand. He turned up at the range, full of pride in his new gun. We walked out to the start of the range (it was in a woodland valley, quite a walk out to start, then work your way back). It was then he realised the key was in his car!
After fifteen minutes or so he turned back up, wheezing slightly. He unlocked the gun…… and the battery was flat! We laughed and laughed and laughed!!
I’m sure they’re awesome, but that is not for me!![]()

But I try not to let that put me off.
One person’s poor preparation does not a bad gun make.
The OP was asking for opinions of the Airwolf.
My experience has been nothing but good.
Take that however you will.
