Lovely morning once more.

I programmed a load of towels in the super new high-tech washing machine last night to end this morning about ... now (sound of beeping in the background). That part worked, however, it is very misty out there for line drying so I might just have to try out my recently dismantled, deep cleaned and re-assembled (with all screws replaced) tumble dryer

Then off to a funeral

Then meet up with the eldest grandson for lunch and a talking too. I can't remember if grandma said it was our grandson or myself that was getting the talking too - it's bound to be both of us, for sure
Maybe, if I pay for lunch, I'll get off lightly

Morning everyone.

Just off to the hospital in a bit to have my once yearly eye check. Have high pressures in the eyes and a retina issue I picked up playing rudby in my youth.

Had an odd txt from the opthalmology unit asking whether I was happy to forgo yearly hospital visits and be discharged back to the GP.

I'm happy if the checkups are a waste of time, but surely that's the hospital's call. I've always been told the checkups are to check on an ongoing condition, if it was a waste of time having the yearly checkups then why have I been going each year for umpteen years?

How hum, I'll have it out with them today.
