I am looking for someone on the forum who makes a dovetail accessory to mount an optic onto the 2240.
I'm not looking to upgrade the pistol in any other way as keeping it as cheap as possible. I have tried using the Pro Blox mounts but find they aren't great.
Just a good slide on block would be ideal.
At the moment it looks like this....

But the Pro Blox mounts move easily if knocked and don't offer a level surface.
Thank you all

A metal breech would be a better option though may not be as cheap.

Fentons do one in black or brass. Only black listed here but the brass one is on eBay.

ask if they can order one

Or pop up a wanted ad on here.

I've been looking everywhere for a steel breech! Been out of stock for months everywhere I tried.
I fitted a 3d printed picatinny adapter instead. I had to shim the scope mounts to make them solid. And file the slots ot for the locking pin.
I might have to rethink that setup now

The Fenton kit looks good. That may be a good way to go. Thanks for that.

That is cheap for a steel breech, they are normally about £60!
They are, so I've just ordered a set. After wasting money on those awful Pro Blox Homer face palm I just wish I had asked this question last week. Never mind, you live and learn. Usually at the expense of your wallet.
