Been a lot of compressor threads lately so I just thought I would mention a couple of things about connecting to a bottle and general use of the fittings.
First off the simple bit. Guide to proper connection of whips and fittings from the BestFittings.

Now my way with the compressor to bottle. From left to right (all fittings are from BestFittings):

First off the simple bit. Guide to proper connection of whips and fittings from the BestFittings.

Now my way with the compressor to bottle. From left to right (all fittings are from BestFittings):
- I use a spare DIN connector (blue dot) for the bottle because it makes my life simple, I like simple. If you are using a bottle to fill a gun the bottle DIN connector should have a restrictor fitted (see blue arrow for location) to slow the air from bottle to gun. You should remove this restrictor when filling the bottle. Normally a grub screw, 2.5mm allen key fits. By having a dedicated DIN connector I don't have to think about it, thinking hurts;
- I have a 1/4BSP quick release (QR) socket (brown dot) fitted to the DIN connector so I can easily test the bottle pressure with a QR plug, fit a filter or connect the charging whip or anything else I want to do;
- I use a double end male QR connector (red dot) to attach the charging whip to the bottle;
- I have a 1/8BSP Female QR (yellow dot) connected to the charging whip (white dot);
- The other end of the charging whip is connected to the charging device, neither are shown here);
