has anyone gained permission on a caravan/holiday park for the greys in there closed season, i have one not to far from me and thinking of asking but not sure of the outcome.

I used to have permission on one that I have a caravan on for rats and rabbits, I ended up loosing permission after I got seen by the usual anti, entitled sort of person. I would say it's definitely possible and your going about it the best way shooting in their closed season, in reflection I shouldve been more discreet about it but you live and learn.
Theyre definitely one of those places similar to golf courses where it's a matter of who you know. Still you've nothing to loose trying
Good luck 🤞

thank you for your reply

I think it's definitely worth having a try, choosing the best times will be crucial, as even in the closed season, they can still be busy places,
Good Luck 🤞 Mitch21

Also, whilst usually not allowed, people can and do live on-site permanently.

I have done pest control on caravan parks, mostly rabbits. Polite public relations is paramount especially because there always seems to be that one caravaner who is around during the holiday close season.

Personally no, but pretty sure someone posted on here about shooting rabbits on caravan/holiday park.
You should definitely ask, we are never sure of the outcome.

I have a permission on a caravan park to shoot rabbits, it's a difficult one really as the owners want the rabbits culling throughout the year but it causes no end of issues if the general public are there, and it tends to be early am in the summer months (very early) or winter when there are less people around

I try not to go to be honest as I am not keen on the potential for confrontation which is massively understandable as most of the public love the bunnies...

Don't know about static caravans, but tourers often have a thin aluminium outer skin over foam insulation which a sub 12 pellet would easily puncture. Also windows are moulded plastic units nowadays, and cost a fortune to replace. So even in the closed season with nobody there 'stray shots' might be raised as a concern.

As an aside all the showgrounds I've been to events at in our caravan (Malvern, Peterborugh, Ardingly, Suffolk, Newark, etc.) have been absolutely over-run with rabbits - a permission at one of those would be great!

Done a fair few but you can get a lot of grief from bunny lovers who don’t see the wider picture
Personally I would give it a wide berth
Cheers

true they think they are lovely they dont see the damage or broken legs of animals that have put a leg down a hole or the amount of grass they chomp

I've got a few on the books still, two I will be dropping once the annual renewal comes up, spent 4 months chasing for the money, other one is sound as a pound.
