Can anybody explain exactly what "Tactical" means?

I often wonder about this too. Tactical knife, torch, pen, boots, gloves......

Feels like you could descale a fish with it.
Used by folks who dress in camo when they have a bath "just in case".
You can attach all sorts of stuff to it using those picnmix rails such as a torch, airfix model of a Harrier and a trouser press.
Often they are made extremely compact and called a bullplop so they can fit inside a large pair of trousers.

Feel free to disagree with me but you all know I'm a million percent right.
 
Its not just in shooting either,It has crept into trout fishing gear too,tactical jackets and just about everything else.Its absolutely pointless and meaningless marketing cr-p.If anything is described thus i certainly wont buy it.

Thinking about it, my Brocock Ranger COULD be tactical but for me, it's more practical. This might be the same for others who want to attach 'stuff' easily rather than look warry. Just a thought.

More bloody expensive if thats what you like.........

I think its more stiped down so no heavy stock and with versatility to add more Accessories i guess
