Brit BSA Meteor Running HW Seals

Been fiddling again with my old MK 2 BSA Meteor. A few weeks back I designed a new piston head to accept a HW 26mm seal, been testing it between making kits with very good consistent results.
The rifle with a WW kit and seal conversion is running at 585 fps using RWS Superdome. Very little cocking effort and a nice sounding thump. Even tho the gun is a lightweight no recoil can be felt, there is some but very light nudge at the shoulder.
I have to wait for the rain to get the CHRONY back out to print off some readings. It's raining here so much I may start building an ark.

Thank you Yes there is a difference, using the std BSA head & buffer overall depth depth is 14mm on the WW HW conversion its 12.5mm giving ever so slightly extra CC's of air

I know, I’ve had a few over the years. They’re so much greater than the sum of their parts and more accurate and just as powerful as the airsporter in my experience. Also nicer to shoot in my opinion. I will, one day, have another I’m sure. They are a joy to shoot.

Growing up it seemed like every household had one under the stairs.
BSA must have made one for every house in the country.
I'm sure you would have no problem finding one and shipping it, though they are very basic. Great for plinking

Betwixt, your BF & carriers like Fed Ex & UPS neither of which see airguns as nowt but " firearms" , unless you get a certified/ licensed firearms " specialty" shipper, all bets are off - ' bout $ 700 & a trip to LAX airport... Purdey/ Holland & Holland prices...
