Fitted a Delta Optics Minidot 3 3moa red dot and @deleted member made me a 36x110 carbon moderator to fit the supplied M14x1.25 threaded adaptor

I’ve also bought a Form grip for it, it uses a standard AR beaver tail grip, I need a longer screw to mount it though, I’ve got nothing at home, but I know I’ve got something suitable in my lockup

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the Form grip. I was playing with the various grips I've got here and it looked to me that the supplied IMI grip is around the right angle to give a properly dropped wrist but the Form grip looks too upright.

Tbh I think I prefer the understated look of the IMI grip. Like you say the angle looks wrong, I’ll give it a go and report back

Zero’d in at 10yards, was pellet on pellet rested and then stretched it out to 30yards and was hitting the 40mm bell pretty easily, even managed 4 in row, again it was rested though.

Took a couple reloads to suss out the mag system, the easiest way is to load the top 3 or 4 pellets and then fully rotate the mag to load the rest. The mag works on a ratchet, when you un cock the pistol it then trips the ratchet and it moves to the next position

I filled it to 240 bar and there was no discernible poi drop until it was under 50bar, it easily did 10 mags and may have even been more, I’ll do a proper count next time out with it

Pellet wise it liked the cheapo Excite Econ II straight away, so never bothered trying anything else

What’s the cocking mechanism like to use? …Better than a side-lever in your opinion?

How loud is it without the silencer?

Aluminium or steel air cylinder?

Think I prefer a side lever, but it’s not really a criticism as a few high end target pistols use a top lever, I guess it just comes down to what you are used too, but it’s easy to cock and in no way awkward..

It’s pretty loud without a mod, the supplied adaptor uses a M14x1.25 thread, so theres not really any off the shelf mods available apart from the AGT ones and they pretty big for a pistol, but a few guys on here could you knock up one for well under £50. Also the mod adaptor has no thread protector supplied….

I think the air tube is Aluminium, it has a 250bar max fill pressure

Tried the Form grip, as @Snapshot said the angle is wrong for a pistol, shame as it did look good, but has to be function over form for me

It's worth pointing out that an M14x1.25 connector is available for the Huggett Belita & Atom and this might be a sensible option for anyone who already has either mod.

Yeah for overseas markets with no restrictions, the .22 can make 18fpe, I’ve not chrono’d mine yet, but will soon

Been asked to post a couple pics of the open sights

Rear sight is a open notch 3.8mm, sits in a dovetail so can be moved for windage, not great, but maybe a decent 1911 competition style rear sight may fit, the dovetail is 9.5mm at its widest



The front is a 2.7mm blade, which is adjustable for elevation with set screws at the front and rear of the blade

The Bara FT’s didn’t load well and also tried Bisley Mags, but they were horrid and struggled to load at all.

I’m not overly impressed with the consistency, but will try again after a few a tins of pellets and I’ll be sticking with the Econs for now

The supplied mod adaptor didn’t come with a thread protector and I couldn’t find anything suitable off the shelf, so Mr @deleted member to the rescue

The trigger! The blade is plastic, no issue the one on the U2 and V3 are also, a nice match type trigger with a adjustable shoe would have been nice though, the only complaint is the first stage spring/weight is too heavy for my liking, so I’ve ordered some smaller springs to try out, the second stage weight and break are excellent and just as good as my old AP16
