Best matrial to stop a pellet

I use a box when using my chronograph to catch the pellets after it goes through my lmbr chronograph. I was using a argos catalogue for years with great success no pass through but always had bits of paper scattered after to clean up. So I put a yoga block (foam) and another bit of foam In the box and had a complete pass through at 5.4ftlb pistol so any recommendations paper works but cleaning up bits all the time is annoying cheers

I have heared good things about plumbers putty but how think would that need to be to stop a sub 12 at less than a foot away

have you seen the huben owner on you tube he is using a cut down gas bottle with chain hanging on the inside, seems to work ok, but my mate uses a box stuffed with old clothes and he said that works for him.

iirc, old carpet as a 'curtain' that the pellets shoot through,,and if you want to be extravagant can have lead sheet angled downwards as the pellets sorta mix with this

Just made this with an old wooden box out of a skip filled with old carpet and ply wood

I used to use a box with old magazines and catalogues, but as said it starts to shred small pieces of paper after a while. I now use a box full of old clothes and rags, it also includes some net curtain. I have an old quilt on standby when it needs replacing

Plumber mait, mate, putty about 20mm thick. It will catch the pellets and they will build up and then you will striking against the lead.

I use it in the garden I now have a .177 buried into my shed door after the pass through

Did the same. Every now and then I torch the pellet build up and the surface smooths out nicely. I built it a year ago now and it’s beginning to get bloody heavy. Pinched the idea from Mr Tilley

Had mine some years now.
I just break the lead build off up and throw it in a container for remelting at some point
Every time I remelt mine, it does get heavier
