Despite the Therapy and spells in isolation I have been buying again, Local Stall Holder, on a collectables day, I have a 1966 Sheridan Blue Streak thing of beauty, so when I saw this.... Well yes had to have it, don't know much about it age, power output, max pumps etc... so hoping my learned members out can help

Looks like someone has had a go at that stock, pump arm. Not a bad looking job, though.
10 pumps is the maximum, should get you 700+ fps, in a healthy gun, with a 10gr pellet.
Keep 2 pumps in the gun when stored, and, they seem to like to be kept wet with oil. To the point of a mist of it coming out the muzzle, when fired.

Great info, looks quite old any ideas 🤔

They were made for quite a few years. From the early 60's? Up until the 80's, or so. Yours would be a later model, as the early ones had a "tootsie roll" pump handle.
Also, I noticed that the rear sight has been replaced with a Sheridan sight.
( they used to be integral with the brass boss that resides in front of the sight.)
It could be that yours is one made after the acquisition of Benjamin by Sheridan in the late? 70's.
Either way, you have a gun that, with proper maintenance, will outlive you.
I have a 1939 Benjamin 310 that is still running on its original internals.
I still hunt rabbits with it.😁

sold all my pumpers ...Benjamin 343 ....1968 Sheridan blue streak and an early crosman 140.....regret it now

Lovely..👍

A mate has several Benjamin Franklin’s and Sheridan’s in his collection.
Mostly all .20 calibre, although a couple are 177’s. Which I thought were quite scarce.
One Sheridan he uses the most, I machined up an adapter so a mod could be fitted..

Benjamin's are both 177 & 22.. Sheridan's are 20's only.... proper Sheridan's that is.
Atb John.

Very nice, by the way you have a Benjamin there..

I have put it through the Chrono, 🤔 only 5.9 ft lbs on 10 pumps, ( 10.34g ) not as though that's any bearing, Is there anyone out there, who does refirbs, I'm ok with Springers, but thinking a bit to heavy handed to tackle this ...

😊 Nope wrong side of the Pond, your probably tripping over Sheridan's, Benjamins and Crosman's, over there, they were always seen as exotic, although when people have them they are usually impressed

Yeah, they're available, but, they command a high price. 😒
Gone are the days when they could be had for 100 dollars, or less.
Now, the average is double, or triple that amount.
