Benjamin as392 leaking

they generally are straight forward but like the as2250 they swapped the piercer set up with the arly type using an o ring and the later type using a flat seal
this flat type seal is obsolete and whilst i do make them i have non available
another issue i seperating the piercer from the block to access the screw that secures the block to the valve, some unscrew easily whilst others need heat to loosen the loctite
i have seal sets for them but not valve stems
Hiya Ped, new member, but not a newbie, so on the airsource 2250 and the as392 they changed the pierced probe and the seal at some point... ok, here's my situation, just picked one up from a guy, leaking 88g on an as392. He said it needs an obsolete seal. I thought hmmmm.
Would it be easier to fit a pin and seal from a king rat, or wont that work?

I want to fit the webly 2x co2 or the walther 2x co2, any help appreciated

If you're comfortable replacing pistol seals, the AS392 is definitely doable with a bit of patience. Seal kits are inexpensive, and there are plenty of guides available. As for value, it depends heavily on condition—post some photos once it's fixed, and it'll be much easier to give a realistic estimate.

If you have an early piercer body from a king it will swap over but you may need a bit of heat to seperate the piercer body

I cant understand, why they went to the trouble of changing the design, then discontinue it, i should have the rifle here tomorrow... so ill know what im looking at, still wont be able to test it though, unless I spend 10 quid on a crosman bottle, or 30 I think, on the walther adaptor, grrr

The seal was for the nitestalker which used the 88g co2
When it was available we all fitted it to the king with the o ring seal as it was better someone at crosman must've agreed so they stopped making the early housing and used the nitestalker one for them all
After a time all the AS models were discontinued

Explains everything. And its only going to get worse with daisy in control

Ive just stripped my, changed the o ring 88 gram seals, cleaned the screen filter and its still spewing out of that little hole in the block, by the sceen

Here's the strip down guys

Hiya ped, seals arrived, replaced the bottle seal in the neck, still no joy, the gas is coming through the hole, in the pressure block main body, by the screen. Here's an investigation video I done, this afternoon

Sorted on the early revision 1, as392 there's an extra o ring. Where the bottle adaptor screws into the filter screen boss.
