I do make myself laugh sometimes, I bought a gummy bear mould and filled it with plaster of Paris. When you shoot them, they just vanish in a cloud of dust!!!!!!!!!! Still chucklin to myself. Do I need to go into the corner and have a word with myself?

Ha ha, just done exactly the same myself! Still working my way through my first batch of 250, great fun and very low cost too. Bench rest: too easy - but off sticks - more of a challenge at 25m (for me anyway!)

The other half is still shaking her head but hey, such is life!

Great fun , I had a shoot with about 6 of us at mine a couple of years ago and one of the gents brought plaster of Paris penis’s and breasts , not life size thankfully ( actually @sagalout didnt confirm or deny he was the still life )

Giggling like silly school kids , but when you hit them they explode brilliantly

I remember making Plaster of Paris moulds many years ago for a rifle target practice. You always had wry smile and a giggle as your target exploded. I remember reading somewhere later on that if you mixed Plaster of Paris with cornstarch, you got a better explosion but never tried this out.😂🤓

@Tinbum Has been featuring his home made plaster of Paris lego men recently on his YT channel. Says they're great fun & eco friendly...esp after all the plastic soldiers he was annihilating!

I really must do a thread re: making these delightful targets.
Make them to the right recipe and they "blow up" brilliantly.

When inserted head first into the (pipe insulation) foam, the part you see is just 10mm square.. Small enough to be a challenge and big enough to generate a good puff of dust.

I know its extremely childish but it cracks me up every time. I just use the gummy bear ice cube mould and plaster of Paris. They are perfect.
