Arken Zulus - User experiences

I have a Zulus 3-12 LRF V2 & 0MOA rail fitted to my RAW HM1000 Microhunter which already has a 20MOA rail and when I've zeroed it at 30 yards the vertical Y axis is 61 which seems a lot and means the LRF box is quite low down the screen and only works up to 9x mag as any more and it's off the screen so will shimming the rail to get Y nearer to 0 bring the LRF box higher as well? If shimming will work, then do I shim the front or back to get Y down to 0?

You shim the front of the scope to raise the lrf and lower the zero.

I had trouble getting the lrf where I wanted it Zulus v1 I bought an eagle vision mount and mounted the Zulus on that I adjusted the lrf to where I wanted it and then zeroed it by the eagle vision mount google the eagle vision mount it explains everything

Thanks, I owned the adjustable Eaglevision mount in the past.

I switched on my Zulus yesterday and got no cant symbol on the screen Anyone know how i can get it back on please.

A chap on YouTube says when he range finds on max magnification the magnification drops back automatically so the splash box is near to the reticle centre
I have tried this on my 3–12 v2 and on 12x nothing changes
Anybody know what he is on about ??

If your splash is off the screen due to zoom, the scope with push your zoom back until the splash is on the screen. Once you've ranged it will put you back to the original zoom

Yes this is the case. I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago to another member.

Zeroed my v2 earlier on my hw100 zero set to 27yds when i tryed a shorter distance of 14 yds it was shooting below the ranged aim point,
So i need to increase scope hight, it went from 6.5cm up to 8cm to get on target is this right please

That's the consensus. But, it shouldn't be very far away from your actual score height. Centre of your scope lens to the centre of your bore at the muzzle. A couple of pointers below. Don't alter the gyro though

Thanks iv watched them videos. on my v1 i only altered the higth a few mm but on the v2 iv had to move it 15mm, just seems a lot

When I set up my v2 ballistics to get the correct aim points from 5 yards to 55 yards I had to increase to fps input by 100
Tried bc——didn’t work
Tried scope height—-didn’t work
Can’t explain the logic but it’s spot on
But on my v1
Altered the bc slightly and it worked
🙃

Advice please.
My zero was spot on at 25 yards, and at 15 and 5 yards with the BC.
Today it’s low at 15 yards and 5 yards so I increased the scope height, then spot on at 5 yards and low at 15 yards.
I’ve tried adjusting the scope height and it’s accurate with one distance yet low on the other.
I will revisit it tomorrow, and suggestions, the scope height originally was 4.8 cms now increased to 5.6 cms.
All scope screws are secure.
Any advice please.

Quick question please re V2.
If I have zeroed the scope, but later want to tweak it by moving it slightly to the right, do I just go to the zero setting and move the x setting using the up button to move it to the right, or down button for left without refreezing.
Thank you.
