I’m not but I’m tempted, I’m a little torn between a SIB, buying a Fastliner 16 or just paying for half a dozen charters a year.

Believe it or not but someone threw a 365 SIB in the skip at work, I pulled it out and the transom had detached and has soft spots. I have to admit Input in back in 😂.

Hi Welshfooey and all. Years ago go i did a lot of sea fishing from a 13 foot inflatable. Living near Aberthaw, I got the inflatable to fish the Leys, mainly for cod in the autumn and winter but plenty of rays and smooth hound in the warmer months. The inflatable meant two of us could carry it down the beach and launch it as the nearest slipway was miles away. Used to take the Mrs and daughter out for a spin on a nice day too...round the coast to Llantwit then over to Fontygary and nip ashore for an ice cream. Mrs used to love the sunbathing while my daughter and I steered the boat. I got rid years ago as it wasn't getting used as the fishing went really bad. Ive still got my outboards though in case i fancy another boat...good memories. Tight lines for your fishing.
Cheers
Chris.

I was tempted for the convenience of launching off a beach due to the shortage of ramps around Pembroke. Then I found a very reasonable store/launch facility up the Cleddau so got a bigger boat😆. Fishing has not been great down this way recently.
I was down stackpole yesterday very slow .. but porthclais st brides I normally fish when I go west .. last autumn saw some magical fish there will be returning this autumn with heavier gear

Yea such a fabulous but if coast line it's a shame the winter fishing as gone but the summer fishing now along the Glamorgan coast line is the best I've seen or experienced & the ice cream is a definite must
