Just inherited these 30mm vertically split mounts. Any idea what make? Or are they el cheapo Chinese (my best guess)...

Thanks for your input.

It's the dead straight sides I don't recognise. No waist to them, i.e. they don't go in where ring meets base.

If you ever use them,(I wouldn't), tighten the dovetails before the top clams or you risk crushing the scope tube methinks.

There is a "stop" to theoretically stop you over tightening the rings...

...but I wouldn't trust this, especially if they're Chinese.
Scope just came to me today so I'll have to find a torx key and take the mounts off to check for prior numpty damage/crimping... fingers crossed.
I favour BKLs instead.

Just had a look at a pair sat in a box and have to agree .
They're in a box for a reason , why would anyone copy them ? They're a crap design .
The Warne Maxima VS rings are actually very well made and fit rails properly ... problems arise when people don't tighten them in sequence, especially on cheaper scopes with thin walls, which WILL distort

I've got to agree , they're very well made . But , they're a bloody faff and I just don’t like the way they look . Yup , I like pretty 🤣 , I am that shallow .
