Ok everyone coming soon I have been asked if I would like to be a guest editor for Airgun World
I said yes 👍
So my question to you all is
Is there any questions you would like answering about the magazine?

If you want to put any questions you may have about the magazine any myths etc you want clarification on etc please suggest them in this thread.

Please note I’m taking this seriously so request that you do the same. :)

Unsure if there’s any substance to this, but I’ve always thought that those who spend the most on advertising, get the better review.

I sort of understand someone not cutting off their nose to spite their face, but I’d really like every review to be fair and objective.

My Life used to revolve around AGW being released, but it became stale.

I’d love it to survive, but most things on paper tend to die off these days…

Hope it goes well for you.

More coverage on low end rifles for people coming in to the sport, especially the young that are not in a position to loan money (borrow)
Soon they will get disheartened with the follow the overpriced HW-AA tribe that keep banging on about over priced over rated dribble and walk away for ever.
It happened in the 80s and is doing a full circle.

That can only be a good thing mate. There's already a couple of chaps on here who's articles I enjoy reading in there so, surely pulling you in from inside the sport can only help to keep the mag alive 🤞
....... Good luck with it 🙂👍

Wot he sed

Suggest that they get a full time editor to add some stability. Also I echo what fudge said about more low end guns being featured. I mean airguns costing £2000 plus. Get real.
But the total cost of all 5 of my guns is only 2k or so. The cheapest rifle the most fun to shoot. The pistol gives most fun per pound. Do we want fun or super serious? £2k for one gun has to give a lot of fun.

You sure you want to do this Pete?

This seems to be the airgunning equivalent of kissing your granny and she slips her tongue in! 😁

Personally, I'd steer clear of the magazines... They're not a patch on this place which you've worked so hard to build. This IS THE PLACE that's the Holy Grail of airgun knowledge. 🙂

However, I'd be interested in knowing why manufacturers treat us with such disdain... Why are they releasing rifles costing thousands of pounds to the Great Airgun Buying Public, that are problematic at best?
