Slightly miffed about the choice is closing down sale 🥴

I'd make the 2 hr trip if I knew I'd be walking away with something, but to openly invite fle bay chancers and man with vans is very lowbrow indeed 👎👎👎

Online would have been my choice fair and orderly not a feeding frenzy at a zoo 😕

🤣It's going to be like the January Sales at Selfridges in the 1970s. Or Brentford Nylons. There will be people camping outside overnight. :rolleyes:
 
Shame that, I've used them for loads of gear in the past and bought pellets from them at the recent hft world championships, they've always been great and even dropped a batch of pellets off for us as it was the last he had and didn't want to risk them in the post.
 
It is always sad to see a business, which has obviously given good service, disappear! I never dealt with them, but I wish them:
all the very best for the future! 😥

That is a loss.

I only used them last week for a sleeve of Shorts and for some Saber bits to finish my M4 off few weeks back.

Always great service.

Sad times.

That, and/or Distance sales regs still applicable. No change-of-mind returns/refunds to contend with from in-store purchases.
 
it's a shame to see an outlet go and note they say, "Private business decision" and are making clear they haven't gone bankrupt/collapsed. Which I'm happy to hear for the owner's sake but I confess I'm curious as to whether the decision was taken because to continue would have lead to bankruptcy/collapse. Shrug tt
 
I like Giles and being relatively close by, has helped me with various bits that would have been more challenging to work out online or over the phone. Used to drop bits off by hand if passing so will miss his help and the shop
